Where are the best quarters to hang out in Paris ?

During the summer, the best places are “le champs de mars” in front of the Eiffel tower, the docks on a par with “l’île de la cité” and the docks of the Saint Martin canal where you can seat on the ground and have a wonderful time with friends, a beer in hand. More commonly, the Saint Michel/Odeon quarter (6th) as there are many universities surrounded, “rue Monge” and “rue Mouffetard” (5th) and the great boulevards (2th), overflow with bars.

 

Do we need a particular dress code to hang out in Paris ? What is the best dress code to wear in Paris which is appropriate in all circumstances?

To hang out in Paris, no need to be wearing a suit or a beautiful dress every time and every night, you can simply wear a classic top and a classy pant, or a nice squirt for girls, for a look casual but elegant. Promote sober colors which fit to all atmospheres. For men, sober shirts with jacket are good deals to fit in all places.

 

How much does it cost to hang out in Paris ?

It depends what you want to do.
If you go have a drink with friends during happy hour, count 4€ for a beer + 5€ if you want to eat a few tapas or have an another drink. So let’s say about 10€.
If you prefer to hang out in a bar with some music in the back, count between 8 and 15€ per cocktail ( it depends on the district ) and 2-3euros if you want shots.
If you feel like you want to dance and have some fun you can go in a night club, for the price it’s really moduable : it can be free specially fot girls, if it’s not it’s around 10-20€ for most of night clubs.
Those prices are just an approximation, you can find places cheaper and you can also spend much more money in one night if you feel the envy to have a lot of fun !

 

Where could you practice sport in order to keep form?

If you want to keep form before the night party, you should do some sports in the afternoon. You are lucky, Paris is a very good city to practice sports. You can run in the Wood of Boulogne where there are many green areas everywhere and nice landscapes. Moreover, the wood is closed for the cars the week end. That‘s great because you can run or do other sports like football, rollerskating, skateboarding, biking everywhere in the wood, in all safe.
